• Ayah 1Before any command or reply to the mockers, the surah opens with a gift already given: good that overflows, from the King who gives.
• Ayah 2The answer to overflowing good is not a speech of thanks but a turned life: prayer for your Lord alone, and sacrifice that feeds others.
• Ayah 3They called him cut off; Allah answered that hatred is what cuts a person off, while his name and his good would keep flowing.
