Al-Hajj 22:62
“That is because Allāh is the True Reality, and that which they call upon other than Him is falsehood, and because Allāh is the Most High, the Grand.”

Essence
The help for the wronged rests on the firmest ground there is: Allah alone is real, every rival is hollow, and He is above all.
A reflection
The last link in a chain of reasons
This sentence returns almost word for word at 31:30, where the fuller treatment of al-Ḥaqq, the Real, sits. Here in Al-Hajj it does a particular job. It is the last link in a chain.
The wronged will be helped (22:60). 'That' is because Allah moves night into day and hears and sees (22:61). And 'that' is because He is the Real, while what they call on is hollow. Each dhālika reaches one step deeper, until it reaches the ground itself.
The ego of an oppressor rests on its supporters: money, allies, a crowd that cheers. The ayah calls every such prop bāṭil, a thing that goes away after a short stay. Only one thing in the chain does not.
Allah does not say this to collect praise. He is above needing it. He says it so that someone frightened by a powerful enemy can see what that enemy is really standing on.
