Al-Qasas 28:20
“And a man came from the farthest end of the city, running. He said, "O Moses, indeed the eminent ones are conferring over you [intending] to kill you, so leave [the city]; indeed, I am to you of the sincere advisors."”

Essence
While the chiefs confer over his death, one man runs the length of the city to give Musa a single sentence of pure advice: leave.
A reflection
Name, fact, stakes, one step, then the credential
Read the man's words slowly. In one breath he does five things, and each is the right thing in the right order.
First, a name: yā Mūsā. Not 'listen' or 'you there'. A person in danger hears his own name before anything else.
Second, the fact, stated with emphasis: inna al-malaʾa yaʾtamirūna bika, truly, the chiefs are conferring over you. Not rumour, not 'people are saying'. Who, and what.
Third, the stakes: li-yaqtulūka, in order to kill you. No softening.
Fourth, one instruction: fa-ukhruj, so leave. A single verb that can be obeyed at once.
Fifth, the credential: innī laka mina al-nāṣiḥīn, I am one of those who advise you sincerely. He tells Musa why he can be trusted, last, after the urgent part.
Now notice what is missing. Not a word about yesterday's killing. No 'how could you', no 'I always said your temper would ruin you', no question about what happened. The man had every chance to moralise. He saved Musa's life instead.
Picture a woman at work whose phone buzzes. It is her neighbour. 'Sana, water is pouring under your front door. Stopcock is in the cupboard under the sink. I'm outside if you want me to go in.' Name, fact, instruction, offer. Nothing about the plumber she should have called last month.
Many of us warn people the opposite way. We lead with the verdict and bury the instruction. 'Honestly, you never listen. Anyway, the meeting has been moved and they're talking about you.' By the time the useful part arrives, the listener has stopped hearing.
There is a time to talk about what someone did wrong. It is not the moment the house is flooding. Rescue first; the lesson, if it is still needed, can wait for a calmer day.
