Al-Qasas 28:3
نَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْكَ مِن نَّبَإِ مُوسَىٰ وَفِرْعَوْنَ بِٱلْحَقِّ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
“We recite to you from the news of Moses and Pharaoh in truth for a people who believe.”

Essence
Allah Himself recites the story of Musa and Pharaoh, true in every part, for people ready to let it steady them.
A reflection
To recite is to follow close behind
The ayah opens with a verb we usually translate as 'We recite'. Its first picture is older and more physical. The lexicons say the root means following close behind, with nothing in between. A young animal trotting at its mother's heels was named from it. So was the rear of a herd, the part that follows.
Recitation took the name because each verse follows the one before, in its order. And one classical linguist adds a second layer. Tilāwa, he says, is used specially for Allah's revealed books. It means following them in two ways: by reading them, and by carrying out what they command, forbid, urge and warn.
Picture a sign-language interpreter at a lecture. She stands slightly to one side and follows the speaker half a second behind. She does not add her own opinions. She does not skip the parts she finds dull. If she falls a sentence behind, the deaf students lose the thread. Her whole skill is following closely, faithfully and in order.
Now notice who is reciting here. It is 'We': Allah speaking of Himself. The commentaries explain that the recitation reached the Prophet ﷺ through Jibril, who recited until he had it by heart. The story of Musa is not a rumour that drifted down the centuries. It is told in order, by its Author, to a listener.
That leaves the reader with a choice the word itself sets. You can follow this story only with your tongue. Or you can follow it the second way, the way the word was always meant to carry. Read how Musa's mother trusted. Read how a tyrant's fear destroyed him. Then let the next thing you do follow from it.
Recitation that stops at the lips is half the word. The other half is walking behind it.
