Nuh 71:12
وَيُمْدِدْكُم بِأَمْوَٰلٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ جَنَّـٰتٍ وَيَجْعَل لَّكُمْ أَنْهَـٰرًا
“And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers.”

Essence
Nuh names exactly what his people loved most, wealth, children, gardens, rivers, and promises it as the fruit of turning back to Allah.
A reflection
Speaking to what they already loved
The sources note something specific about Nuh's choice of incentives here: his people, by their own account, loved wealth and children above almost everything else. Nuh does not offer them an incentive he thinks they should want. He names the exact things they have already told him, in a thousand smaller ways across the surah's long timeline, that they want most.
A charity fundraiser who understands her audience will not lead with statistics about global need when addressing a room of parents. She will lead with what those particular parents already care about most, their own children's futures, their own neighbourhood's safety, and let the wider cause enter through that door rather than forcing it through a door the room was never going to open. The message does not bend. The entry point does.
Nuh's whole method across this surah shows the same discipline: private calling for those who needed privacy, public calling for those who needed the crowd, and now, specifically, wealth and children for an audience that had never hidden what moved them most. He is not manufacturing a new desire in his listeners to make his case land. He is meeting a desire that was already there, loudly, and showing them where it could lead if rightly placed.
This is a different skill from simply knowing what is true. It is knowing your specific audience well enough to find the door their own stated values have already built, and walking the same unchanged message through it rather than demanding they first build a different door for you, one that suits your own preferred way of arguing rather than their actual way of listening.
