Al-An'am 6:126
وَهَـٰذَا صِرَٰطُ رَبِّكَ مُسْتَقِيمًا ۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
“And this is the path of your Lord, [leading] straight. We have detailed the verses for a people who remember.”

Essence
After the open and the closed chest: this is your Lord's straight road, its signs set out one by one for those who heed.
A reflection
Churned together, then parted at the joint
The ayah before this one ended with rijs. At its root, rijs is mixing and confusion: thunder churning in a heavy sky, filth smeared into whatever it touches. The closed chest is a place where things are stirred together until nothing is clear.
Then comes this ayah, with the opposite verb. Faṣṣalnā al-āyāt: We have set out the signs in detail. The root f-ṣ-l is the butcher's knife finding the joint, a clean parting at the natural seam. A weaned camel calf is a faṣīl, parted from its mother's milk. The beads that space out a necklace are its fawāṣil. One commentary explains the verb in just this way: the signs are given section by section, so that none is mixed up with another.
So two neighbouring ayat sit as a pair of opposites. Confusion churns; revelation separates. The closed chest blurs; the Quran parts things at their joints.
Picture a hospital pharmacy after a near miss. Two medicines with similar names and similar boxes sat on the same shelf, and a nurse almost gave the wrong one. The pharmacist does not lecture anyone. She moves the two to opposite ends of the room and prints their names in different colours. Nothing new has been added. What was mixed has been parted.
Much of what the Quran does for a confused mind is like that. It rarely hands the heart something it has never met. It separates what we have let blur together. Worship and habit, trust in Allah and laziness, contentment and giving up, kindness to people and approval of everything they do: each pair is parted.
When you feel the churn, the clouded sense that everything is grey, the remedy is not more noise. Take one thing at a time and look for its joint. What exactly does Allah ask here, and what does He not? The ayat were set out for that. One at a time, they part what we have mixed.
